Pond Week

Ok, here's my best effort at trying to catch up on my blog. It's been a crazy summer!

One of the first week's of summer we did a pond study. My mom conveniently had tadpoles and frogs in her little pond and brought us some to explore!



We took the frog to a nearby park and had fun letting it go after observing it for a day or two. I had high hopes for the tadpoles, but unfortunately, they all died within a week. I need to perfect my tadpole raising skills for next summer!




We did plenty of froggie crafts and activities at home.







We made a yummy jello pond! Thanks to Target, we even had gummy frogs and fish!



At the end of the week we went to a local nature center and had a blast exploring all things pond related!
