Best friends reunited!!!
First stop after some yummy Chicago style hot dogs: Apple Orchard. This was a fall-lovin girl's dream! The weather was perfect, the kids were happy, and the apples were aplenty! We picked over 20lbs of Gala apples!
Will pretty much ate apples the whole time! Such a sweetie!
And what do you do with 20lbs of apples (besides eat them constantly the entire weekend)? You make the cover page dessert from Southern Living! Yum!
The guys made it to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field on Sunday after we walked to an adorable cafe for breakfast, so Karson and I hung out and let the kids play with every single toy they own. They were in heaven! Both nights we put the kids to bed on a giant pallet in their room...all four in a row. Unfortunately, Grace was ejected both nights for unruly behavior!
Monday we hopped the train for a little ride to another city for lunch and an adventure. Good times.
